What We Do
EJP Games is a board and card game design group based mainly in Sumida, Tokyo.
We focus on strategic games while incorporating wordplay and party elements, and we take on the challenge of creating games in a wide range of styles.

We put effort not only into board game system design, but also into artwork and illustration.
In particular, we strive to use dynamic illustrations to bring the character of our cards to life.

1. Audience and concept
We develop concepts based on timely themes and seasonal settings. At this stage, we also consider the target audience and how to promote the game.

We turn the concept into a game system. Keeping the target audience clearly in mind, we explore and refine mechanics from many angles to make the game fun.
3. Improving quality
We bring the concept and system to life through illustration and artwork, then conduct multiple playtests to guide the game to completion.
